Slowly slowly..

Progress is slow...

 

 ...But sure.

The hand is the next tough bit to 'attack'.

I have only managed to have a few minutes in the studio.

 Now with 'new eyes', I've been blocking in the light..

 More men, more boats. I hope this obsession with men in boats stops soon..

A very small painting on wood and plaster

 Just thought you might like to see the first stages, well, almost the first.. The first process was drawing it on the plaster with charcoal.

 Here I go Altering it again.. Heads getting smaller. Thinking about light and shade.

 

 Continuing to look at where the light would hit..
