My studio mess...

Things are going to change!!!
I can't cope anymore with my own mess..

Firstly I've sold my plans chest.. A bit sad really but needs must..
The lovely lady who bought it got an absolute bargain for sure.  I went to Truro auctions the day after I'd sold it!  A broken down one in great need of copious amounts of repair (the draws were broken and needed rebuilding) went for a lot more money then with commission on top.. Crazy..
No wonder she snapped it up in a trice..Well done Ingrid for spotting a bargain.

So next step is to cover up that blue paint, then work table needs to be extended and some much needed shelving. I managed to make start on one wall, then life got in the way again.. Our little granddaughter Maud was back in hospital this week for more cryotherapy treatment.... Onwards and upwards we go..

  1. I'm still shifting and getting rid of things to make more space in my workroom....and selling things on eBay as needs must.
I do hope and pray that little Maude will soon be well, and sending you love, Ellen x

  3. Its going to be wonderful once you have a chance to tackle it. Studios/workrooms are a constantly changing mess if you ask me. When deep into a project everything is everywhere. Once done I try to make order. Yours will be a beautiful place in which to work and play. My heart is with little Maude and hope all goes well for her.

    1. I have captured the spare bedroom Penny, so if anyone wants to stay they have to go up into the attic room.. As for the mess, it's a constant battle.. Maud is struggling at the moment but as all two year old's she bounces back quite quickly. Thank you for your support.

  4. Never mind, that lady probably did you a huge favour by allowing you more space in your workroom. Thoughts are with Maud. Let me know how she's doing? x (brooch is now in NZ - wish I was too!).

    2. Hi Julie - I was just going back through some of your posts to read your replies and noticed that you didn't know my 'proper' name - it's Mary Anne, but mostly I go by MA. Magpie is good too! Hoping that little Maud is better by now.
