Week 10. On my work bench....

....Making paste papers, and what fun I've had. Such a simple process and so lovely to do.. I don't know why I haven't tried it out before..
These are a few of the little handmade books that I've made using the paste papers.. They have a mixture of recycled papers on the inside.. So much to do, so little time. I'm getting ready for the Stick, Staple & Stitch Artists' Book Fair part of the Essex Book Festival, being held at the Colchester Arts Center, Church St. Colchester.. Almost next door to the Mercury Theatre.. This coming Saturday...10am to 4pm  Please come and join us if you can.
Admission free.

I am doing the book fair with Cherry Hall, here she is with the amazing poster of her work at the undercover Chelmsford shopping center.. They looked wonderful.
The Community pop up shop that she has worked so tirelessly for has been a great success, it has proved the point that Chelmsford is crying out for an art gallery..

  2. Love the paste papers!
The printmaking group I belong to has several members from the book art group and they had a class in paste paper. It was a fun and very interesting!
