Hannah looks after all the lost children of the world, she keeps them safe keeping them very close, so close that they have become part of her.

Hannah is a new doll I have been working on this Easter, she is a stump doll made from calico and artists acrylic paints and vintage buttons.

I haven't decided if she is finished yet... still a work in progress.. I'm pleased so far.

  1. She is great , I like the way you added the paint it looks like if it is Raku pottery very cool :)
there is a movie named Spirited Away, it is one of my favorite. there is something about your doll that reminds me of the movie.
The movie is about a little girl that goes to the spirit world .

About your question no , some time they only happens ones a year if that.
I sooo want to move to another state but maybe sooooon .

  2. Hannah is amazing. I love the subdued colours. Have you seen Sarah Lechners work on 'Beyond a glimpse'? She does tapestries with wonderful stories like this. its lovely to see a story evolving from the doll.

  3. I'm really, really lovin' this piece. The story that goes with her and the images of the children around her base are wonderful. I can't think of anything you could add to her - she looks done to me! Beautifully done!

  4. She is hauntingly beautiful! I can't wait to see how she turns out! Exquisite!

  5. your dolls are just wonderful.

  6. I think this art doll is the most precious doll I've seen. She is beautiful and has such a powerful message. Just absolutely wonderful. Your art is amazing and you my dear, are one beautiful artist! Have a wonderful and creative weekend and keep creating your magic!

Welcome to one and all, please feel free to leave a few words..
