My first attempt at needle sculpting, I say attempt, I followed the instructions.... impatient as always..... didn't read them properly..... lots of attempts.. thread kept breaking ... wrong thread?... re-read instructions.... couldn't find an answer ...... button thread was my answer......... to be honest the next reel I came to in my sewing tin.

When I made cloth dolls and needle-scupted the knees, etc., I used buttonhole thread (doubled) and it worked. The knees look good!
