Papier mache
*Note to self.. Read the message and do it. 'Clear, Tidy Studio'.. I have such good intentions.. But decided that the beach was a better option this afternoon..
Grandson and his mama on the beach..Lots of people about, haven't seen Church Cove this busy since the summer, and how the beach has changed, the sea has chucked up all the rocks onto the beach where last week there was soft sand. I expect it will change again, and again as the storms and bad weather continue.
I have this plan that if I take a carrier bag down to the beach each time I go and fill it with plastic I will hope to help the environment in some small way.. So this afternoon I collected my bag of plastic that the sea had thrown up and promptly lost my camera.. A long '2 hours' later I finally find it next to the rubbish bin where I put the bag of plastic beach combings. Grrrr!
Super Paper Mache. The start of the Ark Animals??? Love the camera story, I left my handbag in the laundry basket in the middle of the lawn. Sisters in the Lack of Memory Land :-) xx
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you out and about. Hope you are all bearing up. We take a bag out when walking and collect rubbish too, particularly the kind of plastic that can wrap itself around birds and animals.
ReplyDeleteCamera story made me smile (is it an artist thing? Hubby left one in an underpass once when doing night shots of a city).
Give me the beach anyday. Glad you're getting out and about too, Julie. I'm always misplacing my camera. I thik it's 'Old Lady Memory Syndrome'!Hope the storms stay away for you. x
ReplyDeleteSounds just exactly like something that I would do!! So nice to get out at this time of the year and thank you for cleaning up after others who aren't so thoughtful.
